I am a Girl Scout Troop Leader for a group of eighteen girls (Brownies and Juniors). We meet once a month and try to cover one badge per meeting. This requires some creativity to cover a variety of topics, keep the girls engaged, and keep everyone focused.

In general, my co-leader and I use small groups of 4-5 girls for any activity. We rotate groups throughout the meeting to cover all the activities. Parents typically help with one or two of the groups if we can’t cover it ourselves.
